I have been busy catching up on my reading since I graduated from the University of Phoenix. It feels so nice to relax with a good book. I am also enjoying my new puppy. She is a 9 week old smooth haired dachshund. Her name is Peanut because she is so tiny. She is so small that she fits into my purse. We went to the library today to visit for a little while. She loved all of the attention she received. I hope to get caught up with my 23 things this weekend.

First Game Stanley Cup series

Let's go Pens!!! My husband is going crazy watching the game. He is not a big sports fan but seems to enjoy the playoffs. He is frustrated with the penalty killing of the Redwings and the sloppy playing of the Penguins. Here's to a win in Detroit.

Freedom!!!!

I am enjoying the freedom post-school. I was able to go camping without the worry of not having access to the computer. I felt untethered and was able to enjoy my family, boating, and reading a book I didn't have to read for class. I am currently reading "The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher" by Kate Summerscale. It is a very interesting read. The next book I am anxious to read is "A Lion Called Christian." I have such a long list, I hope that I will be able to get to my crafting soon. All this and the Pens are in the finals! WooHoo!!!! I can't believe that I am finally able to do all of this. Life is good.

One of my purposes for this blog will be to have a forum from which I can have projects and crafts displayed for others to see and do. I love to make different things--from crocheting to rubber stamping to scrapbooking to any other craft I come across that interests me. I hope that others will take inspiration from this blog and that I will get to meet and make new friends.

What a game tonight! Who would have thought that it would be such a one sided game? On to the next series. Here we go Pittsburgh, here we go!!!

Great Day

Today was a great day. Work has been going great and I am happy that I am getting close to the end of my classes. Two more weeks until I am finished with my degree. Yahoooooo!!!!! I will have plenty of pleasure reading time.

Thoughts on 23 things n@

23 things n@ is totally cool!! I am enjoying learning so many new things. I like to find out about technology but at the same time, I have some fear about trying some of these new things. What if I mess up? But then I think that if I don't try I won't know what I am capable of accomplishing. I look forward to learning something new each week.
