One of my purposes for this blog will be to have a forum from which I can have projects and crafts displayed for others to see and do. I love to make different things--from crocheting to rubber stamping to scrapbooking to any other craft I come across that interests me. I hope that others will take inspiration from this blog and that I will get to meet and make new friends.

ReplyDeleteDo you know of any really good sources for rubber stamping? I've never done it, and would like to get started, but would appreciate some advice from somebody with a little more experience...
As you know I also love crafts and Jewlery making so this will be fun!
ReplyDeleteStamin'Up! is a great place to start for first time stampers. They are a direct sales company. They do in home demonstrations and sell all the products you need to get started. It is a great way to get friends and family together for a fun evening and the hostess can earn free merchandise depending upon the amount of sales at each workshop. The demonstrator will teach several techniques and you get to make some great projects.

Ofcourse you can just type in rubber stamping techniques and all kinds of great sites come up.
I am definitely NOT crafty -- but Really appreciate people who are.. I can get creative ideas, but have NO visual/spatial sense, so go nowhere on implementation. But, I enjoy getting to know my coworkers better and to appreciate YOUR interests. I also like your Grandma picture :-) Edith S. - NPL
